Mary Jane Delaney

Ms. Delaney entered the financial services industry in 1983 with Prudential Securities in New York where she was a securities, regulatory and employment lawyer. She became the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Sutro & Co. Inc. in San Francisco, California in 1991 where, for 10 years, she directed that firm’s Legal, Compliance and Human Resources Departments and was a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and Operating Group. When Sutro was acquired by RBC Dain Rauscher in 2001, Ms. Delaney served as a Senior Vice President, Director of Compliance and Private Client Group Counsel and as a Director of that firm.

In August of 2004, Ms. Delaney established Delaney Mediation in Mill Valley, California, and in 2007, established The Sutro Group LLC which offers its clients a broad array of compliance and regulatory consulting services for broker dealers and RIA's.

Ms. Delaney currently serves as an outside Director and member of the Audit Committee and Governance Committee of Wedbush Morgan Securities in Los Angeles, CA.

During her years in the financial services industry, Ms. Delaney had the honor of serving for ten years on the Executive Committee of the Securities Industry Association Compliance and Legal Division (SIACL) where she held various positions including Vice President of the Retail Subcommittee and Chair of the Regional Firms Subcommittee.
